Coho salmon are hatched and start to grow in Tainai, Niigata Prefecture and are farmed in Sado by Yumigahama Suisan with great care.
Shipped in bulk by Yamatsu Suisan for customers in Niigata Prefecture.

Sado Cherry Salmon
Salmon caught in the Sea of Japan from spring to early summer is called cherry salmon. This high-class fish has a mild and elegant flavor.
The young fish are artificially hatched from eggs at Yumigahama Suisan’s Tainai Fish Farm and they swim in the clear underground waters of the Iide mountain range. Then they grow in Sado Ryotsu Bay before being shipped when the cherry blossoms bloom.
We sell seasonally at supermarkets in Niigata Prefecture and on the food floor of Niigata Isetan department store.
